The fourth consonant of the Thai alphabet, a low or third class letter of which there are 24. คอ-ควาย is the designating name of this letter. ค is a soft guttural, used extensively in Pali, Sanskrit and Siamese. In Pali and Sanskrit it means "to go," ex. วิหค Z one who goes or flies through the air (as birds).
